Holiday, FL – Kids Wish Network is thrilled to be able to bring joy to sick and injured children year round through its Holiday of Hope Gift Bank. These extraordinary Gift Banks provide brand new, top of the line toys and games to kids entering the hospital for treatment. Nothing cheers up a scared and anxious child faster than a new toy!

Just this last year, Kids Wish Network was pleased to serves approximately 50 hospitals all across America. The charity can’t continue this wonderful program, however, without the help of the countless toy manufacturers and distributors nationwide that donate toys to be given to these brave kids.

Currently, however, Kids Wish Network is experiencing a critical shortage of items for their teens! It’s very difficult to secure fun and exciting products for kids between the ages of 13 and 18 and sadly, they are often left out of the gift giving festivities because the charity just doesn’t have enough for that age demographic. None of these kids should ever be left out and that’s why Kids Wish Network is asking for your help!

If your company manufactures or distributes products geared towards teens including items such as gaming systems, electronics, cameras, DVD’s, game system games, hand held games, etc., please contact Kids Wish Network’s Distribution Center. When it comes to making dreams come true for sick children, Kids Wish Network never stops coming up with exciting and creative ways to do just that. Take, for instance, the charity’s unique Holiday of Hope Gift Bank program, which was created to bring comfort to pediatric patients. The Gift Bank provides brand new toys and games generously donated by some of America’s top toy manufacturers to children entering the hospital for medical care.

Altru Health System in Grand Forks, ND is the latest recipient of these wonderful items and the hospital couldn’t be happier with their delivery!

Melissa Ziegler, Child Life Specialist at Altru, said that the facility was thrilled with the toys. “Altru Health System is proud to work with such a wonderful organization. The gifts that we are able to give to the children bring smiles to their faces and provide them with hours of entertainment. It is one of the several things that we do to help make each stay a more positive one. Thanks Kids Wish Network!”

Flint, MI – Some very special ‘Guardian Angels’ have helped Kids Wish Network bring smiles to hundreds of pediatric patients at Hurley Medical Center in Flint. Thanks to the generosity of toy companies all across America, Kids Wish Network is able to bring its unique Holiday of Hope Gift Bank to the children receiving medical care at Hurley. The charity is honored to be able to provide toys with a retail value of over $60,000 to the hospital. This special event is being sponsored by Jack’s Commodore’s Club Members. Megatrux, Inc., a long time supporter of Kids Wish Network, graciously delivered the toys to the facility.
“The Kids Wish Network toy donation is a huge blessing for our hospital.  It allows us to give the children a special toy or gift to distract them during their hospital stay. The generous donation has an impact on a large number of children and we are so grateful to receive it,” said Lori Newton, Child Life Specialist for Hurley Medical Center.

As just one of the programs that makes Kids Wish Network different from similar organizations, its Holiday of Hope Gift Bank is a special program created to bring comfort to kids entering the hospital for medical care. The brand new toys, games and cuddly, stuffed animals, donated by some of America’s top toy manufacturers, are distributed to sick youngsters when they arrive to a children’s care facility. The Gift Banks help alleviate fears and anxieties by allowing children to temporarily forget about the stinging needles and uncomfortable procedures often endured while undergoing medical treatment.

This special program is an uplifting, gift-giving event that brings cheer to children admitted to the hospital for treatment.
