Madisonville, TN- Acclaimed manufacturer Chicco USA, Inc. exhibited outstanding generosity by helping bring joy to children and families in crisis through national children’s charity, Kids Wish Network and their newest program, “Kids Wish Network on Tour.”

This December marked the beginning of a brand new program started by national children’s charity Kids Wish Network called “Kids Wish Network on Tour.” This is a program that delivers hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of donated brand new toys and gifts to children in crisis in impoverished areas around the country. The delivery of the toys and gifts was provided very generously by Megatrux, Inc.

The first “On Tour” event took place in Madisonville, Tennessee, a town very affected by the fluctuating economy.  It was a huge event for the impoverished area and the city officials. Thousands of children and their families from four different surrounding counties were selected to attend by city officials due to their unfortunate circumstances which range from extreme poverty situations, to homelessness, to abusive situations and even neglect.  

On the day of the event, the joy and sense of excitement was overwhelmingly powerful; you could feel the happiness in the hearts of the families. However, as the families arrived to pick up their gifts, they lined up outside in the freezing weather and the Kids Wish Network volunteers saw many parents carrying infants wrapped only in sheets to protect them from the chill. Seeing this, the volunteers were absolutely heartbroken and pulled these parents out of the lines and gave them the amazing strollers donated by Chicco USA, Inc. and some nice, warm blankets from Bestever, Inc. to tuck their little ones in. The beautiful strollers and blankets were extremely well received by the emotional and very grateful parents; some even had tears of joy running down their chilled cheeks. They had never experienced such outstanding generosity before.

Chicco USA, Inc.’s donation has already gone a very long way in helping to ease the burdens that these families are facing and Kids Wish Network is overjoyed to have such an amazing company as one of their treasured “Guardian Angels.” Because of everything they have done for these crisis-stricken families, Kids Wish Network simply cannot express enough thanks and gratitude to Chicco USA, Inc.

We at Kids Wish Network would not as efficiently have been able to make a difference in the life of these people, were it not for caring organizations like Chicco USA, Inc.  We offer our sincere thanks to these wonderful “Guardian Angels,” and others like them who help us to spread cheer year-round.

Holiday, FL- Kids Wish Network received several wonderful first time donations of youth accessories from FAB/Starpoint to distribute to children in crisis through Kids Wish Network’s amazingly uplifting gift-giving program.

Several magnificent donations of amazing accessories for kids and teens that came to a total retail value of approximately $30,000 arrived over the past few months at national children’s charity Kids Wish Network from FAB/Starpoint, “the industry leader in youth accessories.”

The magnificent backpacks, purses, room décor items and other assorted accessories that FAB/Starpoint sent to Kids Wish Network are just perfect for kids and teens of any age and will be especially welcomed and treasured by the kids served through Kids Wish Network’s programs. These super trendy accessories decorated with beautiful colors, patterns and some of the most beloved children’s characters and celebrities, such as Tinker Bell, Hello Kitty and the Disney Princesses, will delight any child or teen in crisis

FAB/Starpoint’s marvelous donations of amazing accessories will be included in Kids Wish Network’s unique Holiday of Hope Gift Bank program, an uplifting program that brings cheer to children in the care of specialized facilities such as abuse shelters, hospitals and homeless shelters.

Holiday, FL- Kids Wish Network received an amazing donation of sweet, comforting specialty toys called “WorryWoos” from manufacturer Monsters in my Head, LLC. to distribute to children in crisis through Kids Wish Network’s amazingly uplifting gift-giving Holiday of Hope program.

A magnificent donation of plush “WorryWoo” characters and story books, that came to a retail value of approximately $7,000, just arrived at national children’s charity Kids Wish Network from Monsters in my Head, LLC. These special plush toys and story books were created by artist Andi Green to help children embrace their emotions.

These magnificent whimsical plush characters come with names ranging from Nola, “the monster of loneliness,” to Fuddle, “the monster of confusion.” Each little monster has its own story written to help children understand the particular emotion that the monster embodies.

These wonderful plush characters are just perfect for a child of any age and will be especially welcomed and treasured by the children served through Kids Wish Network’s programs. Kids dealing with crisis situations are often plagued by a range of emotions that are sometimes just too much to handle. The comfort and understanding that the “WorryWoo” plush and accompanying stories can bring to a child in such uncertain conditions is outstanding.

HOLIDAY, Fla. – Kids Wish Network gave an amazing $500,000 worth of brand new toys and gifts to 25 charities and shelters from around the Tampa Bay area during a day full of holiday decorations, refreshments, festivities and even a visit from Santa Claus!

Even though children’s charity Kids Wish Network works to bring joy to kids nationwide, they know that there are many children in their own “backyard” who are experiencing difficult situations relating to homelessness, abandonment, abuse and neglect. With this in mind, the Kids Wish Network team worked together with their donors and other sponsors to set up an event called “A Holiday in Holiday” where they would be able to help improve the quality of life for local children and families in crisis.

From 1 pm to 4 pm, representatives from 25 local charities and shelters such as Metropolitan Ministries, Kids Charity of Tampa Bay, ASAP Homeless Shelter, SOLVE of West Pasco and Easter Seals of Florida stopped by the Kids Wish headquarters to pick up two pallets each for the children they serve. In each pallet, Kids Wish Network’s Distribution Department packed brand new toys, games and gifts that were generously donated by many of the nation’s leading manufacturers and distributors.

As the trucks from the charities and shelters arrived, the representatives were overjoyed to see their pallets, which were comprised of boxes and boxes of outstanding merchandise donated from local manufacturers and distributors as well as from around the country. Also included for each facility was a sparkling brand new child’s bicycle and helmet set, donated from four outstanding sponsors: North Star, Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club, Wal-Mart and Amscot.

Karen Bolden, the Executive Director of ASAP Homeless Shelter noticed that some brand new Chicco baby strollers were included in the pallets and exclaimed on the appropriate timing, as two new mothers had just joined the shelter. Nancy Hankin, the Project Director for Mary Lee’s House, a child protection and advocacy center, also noticed the new strollers and was very grateful: “These strollers and everything…they are all things that our families can really use. It’s unbelievable.”
