Bringing Joy through Toys: JAKKS Pacific Donates Thousands of Much-Needed Toys for Children in Crisis

Holiday, Fla. – Kids Wish Network, a national organization dedicated to helping children and families in need, received two outstanding donations of fantastic toys, playsets and dolls from leading U.S. toymaker JAKKS Pacific, Inc. to distribute to children in crisis through Kids Wish Network’s amazingly uplifting gift-giving programs for last holiday season and the coming year.

JAKKS Pacific donated top-of-the-line toys with a retail value of approximately $90,000 to national children’s charity Kids Wish Network. JAKKS Pacific, Inc. is a multi-brand company that designs and markets a broad range of toys and consumer products, and a long time sponsor and supporter of Kids Wish Network. Through its philanthropic division, JAKKS Cares™, the company has donated hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of brand new, top of the line toys to Kids Wish throughout their five year partnership.

JAKKS Pacific’s donation to Kids Wish Network include some of the hottest toys on the market today such as Taylor Swift dolls, Hannah Montana dolls and Neopets playsets. These particular donations will bring much joy to kids of all ages who desperately need something wonderful to make them smile and Kids Wish Network is extremely proud to have JAKKS Pacific, Inc. as one of their leading and most treasured “Guardian Angels.”

The magnificent dolls, playsets and other toys donated by JAKKS Pacific, Inc. will be included in Kids Wish Network’s unique Holiday of Hope Gift Bank program and the groundbreaking “Kids Wish Network on Tour” program. The Holiday of Hope Gift Banks bring cheer to children in the care of specialized facilities such as hospitals, homeless and abuse shelters; “Kids Wish Network on Tour” packs several semi trucks completely full of toys, games, clothes, baby strollers and other necessary items for families and children in need living in various cities across the country, creating “miles of smiles.”

After working with children in crisis for over 12 years, we at Kids Wish Network have found that children truly love to play with classic toys, especially dolls and toy cars. Despite the demand for high-tech gadgets, dolls and toy cars remain on the top of the list of the most desirable toys.

Playing with a toy is a calming and relaxing activity for kids who are suffering from illnesses, distressed while dealing with harsh circumstances like homelessness or trying to cope with other traumatic situations such as abuse.

Probably because of their worldwide appeal to children of all ages and situations, toy cars and dolls are some of the hardest products to secure in donations; there is always a high demand for these classic toys. Without the assistance of the manufacturers and distributors of these items, we cannot give these kids the joy they so deserve during their times of need.

We work hard each and every day, all year round to bring joy to some very courageous kids through our gift giving Holiday of Hope Gift Bank program. This program distributes thousands of dollars worth of toys and games directly to children within approximately 150 hospitals and child care facilities per year across the country; there are no middle men involved.

Because of the difficult economic times, more and more people are flooding into homeless and abuse shelters, many bringing their children, who have little to make them smile. This is where Kids Wish Network works best, bringing happiness to the lives of these kids.  

In order to bring joy to these very deserving children, we rely on the generosity of toy manufacturers and companies nationwide to donate their products to be given to these children. Making Education Fun for Kids in Crisis: eeBoo Corporation Donates Wonderful Educational Toys and Games to Children’s Charity Kids Wish Network

Holiday, FL- Kids Wish Network received another donation of fun and educational jigsaw puzzles from eeBoo Corporation to distribute to children in crisis through Kids Wish Network’s amazingly uplifting gift-giving Holiday of Hope program.

A magnificent donation of United States jigsaw puzzles that came to a retail value of approximately $15,000 just arrived at national children’s charity Kids Wish Network from eeBoo, “a boutique toy manufacturer that specializes in useful, beautiful and well-made educational games and gifts…Literacy, story telling, drawing, imaginative play and basic math are among the skills that eeBoo products encourage.”

These puzzles, along with the many other donations of unique and educational toys and games that eeBoo has donated to Kids Wish in the past, will delight kids of all ages who are dealing with unfortunate circumstances. This latest donation of puzzles in particular will brighten the days of children stuck in hospital rooms and stranded inside other facilities due to weather or other inclement circumstances.
