Holiday, FL – The Kids Wish Network On Tour truck from Megatrux, Inc. is being packed full of amazing items for deserving children in Tennessee and will soon be hitting the road!

The truck is here! Our wonderful 53’ Kids Wish Network On Tour semi-truck, generously donated by Megatrux, Inc., has just arrived at the Kids Wish Network headquarters in Holiday, Florida and we are all so excited; not only because it’s here, but because it will soon be hitting the road to bring joy directly to thousands of brave, deserving children in Monroe County, Tennessee!

This truck, with its beautiful, new Kids Wish Network On Tour logo, is being packed to the brim with almost a half-million dollars worth of fantastic baby carriers, strollers, wagons, games, toys, clothes, educational products, necessities and much, much more for the deserving children of Tennessee. Once packed, the truck will drive day and night to get these amazing brand new items all the way to Monroe County and we want you to honk your horn when you see the Kids Wish Network On Tour truck on the road! It’s a fun way to let us know that you support our mission of bringing joy to children nationwide.

During the Kids Wish Network On Tour event on Saturday, October 1, the toys will be given directly into the hands of approximately 2,000 children facing life-altering situations such as abuse, neglect, homelessness and life-threatening illnesses by their local police officers, fire fighters and other city and county officials during a day of festivities and unity that will be remembered for years to come.

It will be an incredible experience for all involved and we can’t wait to see the “miles of smiles” we are bringing to Tennessee! We’ll see you on the road, so please honk your horn! Beep, beep, beep!!!

Holiday, FL- National children’s charity Kids Wish Network just received an amazing donation of school supplies and toy figurines for kids of all ages from KIDdesigns, Inc. that is sure to bring smiles to the faces of children nationwide.

Acclaimed manufacturer KIDdesigns, Inc. (www.kiddesigns.com) knows that it is important for kids to have new supplies now that they are back in school; they also know that it is important for kids to have a little fun when their schoolwork is completed at the end of the day. That is why KIDdesigns, Inc. sent a fantastic donation over to national children’s charity Kids Wish Network. Included in the donation were thousands of brand new pencils, erasers, pencil sharpeners, rulers, pencil cases and fun cartoon character figurines sure to delight any child. After working with children in crisis for over 12 years, we at Kids Wish Network have found that children truly love to play with classic toys, especially plush toys and dolls of all kinds. Despite the demand for high-tech gadgets, plush toys and dolls remain on the top of the list of the most desirable items.

Playing with a doll or cuddling a soft, plush toy is a calming and relaxing activity for kids who are suffering from illnesses, distressed while dealing with harsh circumstances like homelessness or trying to cope with other traumatic situations such as abuse. The confidence of a doll or favorite plush toy also provides great feelings of security and comfort to children in despair and they make the finest friends.

Probably because of their worldwide appeal to children of all ages and situations, plush toys and dolls are some of the hardest products to keep in stock; there is always a high demand for these classic toys. Without the assistance of the manufacturers and distributors of these items, we cannot give these kids the joy they so deserve during their times of need. Right now, especially after the holiday giving season, we at Kids Wish Network are in desperate need of plush toys to send out to children in need.

We work hard each and every day, all year round to bring joy to some very courageous kids through our unique Holiday of Hope Gift Bank program and the groundbreaking “Kids Wish Network On Tour” program. Holiday, FL- Kids Wish Network recently sent truckloads of toys and gifts across the country to bring joy to children in need. Now they need the assistance of toy manufacturers and distributors to help send out even more toys with their upcoming gift giving events.   

Picture in your mind the wide, bright smile of a child as they hug a brand new toy or open a fun new game. Now imagine that this child has gone through difficult circumstances such as neglect, abuse or homelessness; perhaps they are sitting in a hospital bed because of an accident or a lingering illness. These are the children for whom the “joy of toys” becomes even more special and meaningful. Not only do toys and games provide these children with a welcome distraction from their unpleasant situations, but they can also bring comfort and a sense of normalcy.

With donations of brand new toys, games and other gifts from some of the top distributors and manufacturers worldwide, national children’s charity Kids Wish Network works non-stop all year round to help bring the “joy of toys” to children facing difficult circumstances; they do this through their gift giving programs: the Holiday of Hope Gift Bank program and Kids Wish Network On Tour. The Holiday of Hope Gift Banks are pallets of toys, gifts and games sent to specialized facilities such as hospitals, homeless and abuse shelters to distribute to the children in their care. With Kids Wish Network on Tour, several semi-trucks are packed completely full of toys, games, clothes, baby strollers and other necessary items and sent to various cities across the country for children in need.
