HOLIDAY, Fla. – Kids Wish Network, a nationally recognized 501 (c) (3) organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for children in need, is starting to pack for a Kids Wish Network On Tour event in Gallup, New Mexico and they are in dire need of donations of toys, games, clothes, educational products and other necessities for children aged from infancy to 18.

National children’s charity Kids Wish Network is gearing up in 2012 with their amazing Kids Wish Network On Tour program, which was designed to help at-risk children across the country facing difficult situations of abuse, neglect, homelessness, illnesses and poverty. The goal of Kids Wish Network On Tour is to give these children, who range in age from infancy to 18, toys, educational products, clothes, games and other necessities to help ease the burdens that they deal with year round.

Kids Wish Network On Tour has partnered with shipping company Megatrux to deliver truckloads of toys, games and gifts to different locations across the country in trucks emblazoned with the Kids Wish Network On Tour logo. It is through their invaluable assistance that Kids Wish Network is able to reach out to even more children nationwide.

For each event, Kids Wish Network works closely with the local Sheriff’s department, Mayor’s office and other city officials in order to reach out to the most disadvantaged children in the community who have endured the most severe cases of child abuse, neglect and family violence. This amazing act of teamwork also helps to foster a good relationship between the children and the city and county officials who truly care.

Due to the overwhelming success of the Kids Wish Network On Tour program, we have scheduled several On Tour events throughout the country, all year round. In fact, we are headed to Gallup, New Mexico in June to help bring smiles back to the faces of the at-risk children in the area. These children and their families daily face challenges related to extreme poverty and homelessness that leaves them without much to smile about; Kids Wish Network On Tour is heading out to bring those smiles back to the faces of the children of Gallup.

As this event is rapidly approaching, Kids Wish Network desperately needs the help of manufacturers and distributors who deal with toys, children’s clothes, educational products, baby items, books, games and other necessities. For each On Tour event, approximately 3,000 children will attend and Kids Wish Network is in need of donations of the items mentioned above. Anything you can possibly spare will be greatly appreciated, as Kids Wish Network wants to give these brave kids a very special day and leave them with memories that will last a lifetime.

Playing outside is always a wonderful pastime for children. The activity and teamwork involved in playing a game of kickball or baseball or even just jumping rope are calming and relaxing distractions that help soothe little minds that have been overburdened by stress, fear and anxiety.

With the economic climate of the country today, it’s becoming harder and harder to find donations at all, let alone ones that fit the needs of our kids. We understand this difficulty, but the children still need our help; without your assistance, we cannot give these kids the joy they so deserve during their times of need.

We work hard each and every day, all year round to bring joy to some very courageous kids through our Kids Wish Network On Tour and Holiday of Hope Gift Bank programs. HOLIDAY, Fla. – Children in the care of hospitals in Iowa and Colorado will soon be smiling thanks to some wonderful donations of toys and games given to them through Kids Wish Network and the charity’s group of sponsors called  “Guardian Angels.”

In the coming weeks, brand new toys, games, educational products, baby items and other necessities worth over $80,000 retail will be making their way into the hands of thousands of deserving children in the care of several hospitals across the country. These toys and gifts will be sent out through national children’s charity Kids Wish Network’s unique Holiday of Hope Gift Bank program in fulfillment of their mission to infuse hope, create happy memories and improve the quality of life for children facing life-altering circumstances.

The Holiday of Hope Gift Bank program was designed to bring joy to children at facilities such as hospitals, homeless shelters, abuse shelters and many different specialized programs through donations of toys and other needed items. The beautiful toys, games and electronics are donated by many manufacturers nationwide. Once received by Kids Wish Network, these amazing products are distributed directly to the facilities and into the hands of thousands of children and teens in crisis situations nationwide.

The hospitals that will soon be the proud recipients of Gift Banks are Mercy Medical Center – Sioux City, Iowa; Mercy Medical Center – Des Moines, Iowa; and Memorial Hospital for Children in Colorado.
