Become a “Guardian Angel” for Kids in Need: Donate Your Products to Kids Wish Network

Posted in Press Releases on January 31st, 2013

There is nothing quite like bringing a smile to the face of a child whose days have been darkened by homelessness, illness, poverty, neglect, or abuse. You, too, can create these smiles by becoming a “Guardian Angel” donor for international children’s charity Kids Wish Network.

An overwhelming number of families are flooding into shelters, and seeking assistance from outreach programs and charities nationwide. The majority are no longer able to provide even the most basic necessities, let alone toys and educational products, for their children. Kids Wish Network needs the help of caring companies to give these kids the joy and comfort they so deserve during their times of need.

Each and every day, all year round, Kids Wish Network works tirelessly to brighten the lives of courageous kids in the care of hospitals and other facilities through their Holiday of Hope Gift Bank program, as well as to at-risk children across the country through “Kids Wish Network On Tour.” Both programs provide toys, clothes, educational products, and other necessities, to children facing difficult circumstances nationwide.

Kids Wish Network relies on the generosity of manufacturers and companies nationwide to donate their products to these brave children, and each donor is proudly honored as a “Guardian Angel” for kids in need.

If your company manufactures or distributes toys, clothes, books, accessories, games, activity kits, or other items appropriate for children from infancy to 18, please contact Kids Wish Network’s Distribution Center. Any help would be tremendously appreciated and every donation is given directly to the children.

Kids Wish Network “Guardian Angel” Noodle Head, Inc. Comes Through Once Again for Kids in Need

Posted in Press Releases on January 24th, 2013

There is nothing that brings a smile to a child’s face quite like a brand new toy, and nothing keeps that smile beaming longer than a toy designed to keep young minds stimulated through interactive, creative play. One of the leading manufacturers of these types of unique, imaginative toys is Noodle Head, Inc. in Spokane Valley, Washington.

Noodle Head, Inc.’s motto encourages kids to “get out and play,” and they create toys that urge children to do just that. Noodle Head’s unique lines of adventure toys, travel gear, and activity kits promote lively play no matter where you are. This is essential for children enduring a stay in a homeless shelter, a home for abused children, or even hospitals, as the toys are a fun way to help the kids keep their minds sharp and their imaginations alive despite their circumstances.

In 2011, the kind folks at Noodle Head reached out to Florida-based children’s charity Kids Wish Network and were heartily welcomed into the organization’s “Guardian Angel” network of donors. They recently sent over another donation that contained thousands of their colorful Flip Flop Fun Kits, cuddly Travel Buddy pillows, Adventure Logs, and much more. These great toys will be distributed to children in need through Kids Wish Network’s Holiday of Hope Gift Banks and Kids Wish Network On Tour. Both of these programs provide toys and necessities to children across the U.S. who are faced with difficulties such as illnesses, poverty, abuse, homelessness, or neglect.

When a child in need receives a Noodle Head, Inc. toy, they are given the tangible opportunity to let their imaginations soar beyond the pain and insecurity of their unfortunate situations. For their care and thoughtfulness in creating such outstanding products and for their constant generosity, Kids Wish Network would like to send their warmest message of thanks out to their esteemed “Guardian Angel” donor, Noodle Head, Inc.

Kids Wish Network Welcomes We R Fun Inc. as a New “Guardian Angel” Donor

Posted in Press Releases on January 10th, 2013

HOLIDAY, Fla. – International children’s charity Kids Wish Network is proud to welcome We R Fun Inc. into their “Guardian Angel” network of donors after receiving a very generous first time donation of We R Fun Inc.’s entertaining and educational “Life on the Farm” games.

In Cushing, Minnesota, farmer Keith Gohl had the idea for his innovative “Life on the Farm” game after trying to humorously explain farm life to family members from the city. His sister, Ev, put the idea in motion by designing a board game based on the “ups and downs of farm life” that combines action with mishaps and money sense with humor; with this new “Life on the Farm” game, We R Fun Inc. was born.

Since its creation, “Life on the Farm” has won numerous toy awards, including the National Parenting Center’s “Seal of Approval 2012”, the National Teacher’s Choice “For the Family” award, as well as 3 out of 3 stars from the Education Clearinghouse and many more.

Recently, We R Fun Inc. responded to a request from Kids Wish Network for games and educational products for children in need by sending a pallet of their ground-breaking “Life on the Farm” games. Not only are these games extremely fun and easy to play for kids of all ages, but “Life on the Farm” also helps children develop better math and critical thinking skills through interactive game play.

Through Kids Wish Network, each and every donated “Life on the Farm” game will be distributed directly into the hands of children nationwide through their unique Holiday of Hope Gift Banks and Kids Wish Network On Tour programs.  Both programs bring joy to children all across the country facing the difficult circumstances of illnesses, abuse, neglect or homelessness by providing them with toys, books, clothes, educational products, games and other necessities.

The “Life on the Farm” games are sure to delight children facing long hospital or shelter stays with an exciting new way to distract them from their troubles. The educational properties of “Life on the Farm” will also help keep their math and critical thinking skills sharp in times of worry, when studies aren’t exactly the first things on their minds. Additionally, playing a fun board game with new friends will help the children build social skills and also eases the tension of transition periods often experienced by newer patients and shelter residents.

For their innovative “Life on the Farm” game, their outstanding generosity and their dedication to providing the best in fun and education to children everywhere, Kids Wish Network would like to send a huge thank you to We R Fun Inc., their newest “Guardian Angel” donor.
