Kids Wish Network Kids are Fashionably Savvy Thanks to Mooncakes

Posted in Press Releases on November 13th, 2013

Florida based company Mooncakes recently donated over $10,000 in beautifully crafted clothing items to support Kids Wish Network with their mission to improve the quality of life of children facing life-altering situations. Mooncakes owner, Mary Morrison, founded the company because she wanted to create practical baby gifts that were unique, timeless, baby-friendly and affordable. When Mooncakes found out about Kids Wish Network they were moved to donate exceptionally beautiful clothing to help Kids Wish Network kids dress in style. “We are thankful for the generous donation and are proud to give our kids the best” said Anna Lanzatella, the Executive Director for Kids Wish Network.

Mary Morrison, of Mooncakes, came up with the idea of her company while she was shopping at a gift store. She was looking at baby items, specifically a cashmere baby kimono that was priced at over $100. Immediately she decided to create an economically practical stylish and chic clothing line that embodied the design concept of east meets west. Six years ago, Mary made it her mission to design a brand that was trendy, wholesome yet modern and classy that would not only aesthetically please both parents and kids, but also be fully functional. So her journey began as she travelled to Hong Kong, going door to door to find a factory that would work with her to produce adorable, preppy, timeless yet durable clothing for kids.   Mary had a vision and passion for creating Mooncakes and that is why her company has been so fruitful and rewarding. Mooncakes is always delighted to help wherever they can by donating their exquisite clothing.

These wonderful clothing items will give children in need a chance to be adorned in comfortable and popular threads. Donations from Mooncakes will be distributed into the hands of children in need nationwide through Kids Wish Networks On Tour and Gift Bank programs. Both programs serve children across the country facing adverse circumstances of illness, abuse, neglect, or homelessness. By providing the children with new toys, books clothes, educational products, games, and other necessities, Kids Wish Network is able to bring joy to children across the country.

Kids Wish Network expresses appreciation to Mooncakes for their superior clothing, genuine compassion, and commitment to providing outstanding products to children everywhere. Additionally, we would like to honor them with the title of Kids Wish Network Guardian Angel. For more information on Mooncakes, please visit www. http://moon-cakes.com.
