Kids Wish Network partners with ImagAbility, Inc. to donate Switchbotz toys

Posted in Press Releases on March 27th, 2014

CALIFORNIA: Thanks to the great donation from ImagAbility, Inc., Kids Wish Network can give children suffering from life-altering circumstances a taste of the robotic future. The company recently donated $8,000 worth of the geometric robotic-style characters to the charity’s Holiday of Hope Gift Bank and On Tour Event programs. Both programs help children facing life-altering situations such as illness, abuse, neglect and homelessness.

ImagAbility, Inc. has been in business for over 15 years developing products that combine geometric shapes and construction skills. The company donated over 600 sets of Switchbotz featuring three different products from the Carbonite and Titanium Series. Each Switchbotz set provides blocks with construction guides to build multiple characters, giving kids an extended play experience.

Through Kids Wish Network programs, this donation will go directly to where it’s needed most, places like the Children’s Fund of San Bernardino County in California. This organization is committed to enhancing the quality of life for local children including those that are underprivileged and at-risk.

Kids Wish Network would like to thank ImagAbility, Inc. for its amazing donation. For more information about the company and its products, you can visit www.switchbotz.com

Posted in Press Releases on March 12th, 2014

Taking the rubbery ducky to a new, wild level, Advanced Primate Entertainment (APE) Games recently donated an entire pallet of the exciting board game “duck! duck! SAFARI” to children’s charity Kids Wish Network. This donation will help children facing life-altering situations such as illness, abuse, neglect and homelessness through the organization’s Holiday of Hope Gift Bank and On Tour Event programs.Ducks2

APE Games has been publishing board and card games since 1997. The most recent donation of “duck! duck! SAFARI!” takes rubber ducky gaming into the tropics. Located all in one box, this board game is really five games in one. Each game is carefully selected to range in complexity, duration and number of players so safari expeditions of all ages and sizes will find something wild to explore.

As a second-time donor, APE Games is continuing its tradition of providing joy to kids experiencing upsetting and often traumatic circumstances. Kids Wish Network recipients, like those at The Children’s Hospital at the Medical Center of Central Georgia, will greatly appreciate the donation.

“Board games are a great way for our specialists to build rapport with their patients and it allows the child to feel like they know the specialists well enough to tell their story,” says Kathy Tolbert, a child life specialist at the center. “Playing a board game gives patients some control over their situations.”
