Fountain Valley, CA - Few things bring a smile to a child’s face faster than a brand new toy. There are hundreds of smiles right now at Fountain Valley Regional Medical Center thanks to Kids Wish Network’s Holiday of Hope Gift Bank. This special program is an uplifting, gift-giving event that brings cheer to children admitted to the hospital for treatment. The organization is honored to be able to provide toys with a retail value of over $60,000 to the hospital through its unique Holiday of Hope Gift Bank. Megatrux, Inc., a long time supporter of Kids Wish Network, graciously delivered the toys to the facility.

The brand new toys and games, donated by some of America’s top toy manufacturers, are distributed to sick youngsters when they arrive to a children’s care facility. The Gift Banks help alleviate fears and anxieties by allowing children to temporarily forget about the stinging needles and uncomfortable procedures often endured while undergoing medical treatment.

Desperately Seeking Products for Sick Teens!

 

Holiday, FL –Kids Wish Network, a nationally recognized 501 (c) 3 organization that serves sick children is desperate for your help! We work hard each and every day to bring joy to some very courageous kids through our wish granting services and our gift giving programs. In order to do this, we rely on the generosity of toy manufacturers and companies nationwide to donate their products to be given to these children. Nothing brings a smile to a child’s face more quickly than receiving a brand new toy or game!

 

Sadly, our teenagers are often neglected in our efforts! It is extremely challenging for us to garner donations geared towards kids between the ages of 12 and 18! We do our best to fill our wish boxes and to stock teen rooms at hospitals and children’s care facilities across the country with items appealing to teens, but it is very difficult as we are seriously lacking items for them. As everyone knows, teenagers are very gadget oriented! 

 

At this time, we are desperately seeking any of the following items for our teens: electronic hand held games, game system games for all game systems, DVD’s for older kids, listening devices including ipods and MP3 players and books for teens.  

 

If your company manufactures or distributes any of these products, please contact Kids Wish Network’s Distribution Center. Any help would be tremendously appreciated!  Kids Wish Network will gladly pay for shipping within the continental U.S.
