Holiday, FL – Though their mission of helping children and pediatric care facilities is carried out all across the United States, nationally recognized 501 (c) 3 organization Kids Wish Network saw that the difficult economic climate was particularly devastating for the programs and facilities in their own backyard: the state of Florida. Because of the growing needs this created in the state, Kids Wish Network and their band of “Guardian Angels” came to the rescue for these programs and facilities with over $190,000 worth of toys and gifts given through their unique Gift Bank program.

 

With our country’s ongoing economic struggle, it is becoming more and more difficult for people to give, causing a chain reaction that is severely crippling charitable institutions nationwide. Here in Florida, the situation is no different. Holiday-based organization, Kids Wish Network, is constantly adding to their ongoing list of facilities that serve the homeless, abused, disadvantaged and underprivileged children.

 

Seeing that hundreds of local child care programs, shelters and facilities were struggling in this difficult economic climate, Kids Wish Network stepped forward and saw to it that approximately $190,000 worth of fantastic toys, games and other items were distributed to the Tarpon Springs Police Department, CASA, Arnette House, Path of Citrus County, Children’s Medical Services and PARC in November alone!

Kids Wish Network’s Gift Bank program is designed to bring joy to children at facilities such as hospitals, homeless shelters and many different specialized programs through the use of brand new donated toys, games and electronics from many of the top manufacturers nationwide. Once received by Kids Wish Network, these amazing items are distributed directly to the facilities and into the hands of thousands of children and teens. In other words, Kids Wish Network helps them to help the kids!

These Tampa Bay area recipients accepted their Gift Banks with great enthusiasm; they were both shocked and greatly surprised to receive such large amounts of high quality merchandise to give to the children they serve for the holiday season.

 The folks of Kids Wish Network are only too happy to have made a difference in their neighborhood. As they continue to try and meet the needs of their community, the people at Kids Wish Network are also working diligently in continuing on their nationwide mission of helping bring smiles to the faces of deserving children across the country.

Holiday, FL- A beautiful donation of toys and gifts for girls worth over $300,000 from Fashion Angel Enterprises® was transported from Wisconsin to Florida by CSX Intermodal for the immediate distribution into the hands of deserving kids all over the U.S.

When it comes to making toys and gifts designed to make young girls smile, Fashion Angel Enterprises® knows exactly what they’re doing. For over ten years, Fashion Angel Enterprises®, formerly known as The Bead Shop®, have been designing and manufacturing products made especially for “tween” girls.

In addition to being one of the top manufacturers of fun products for young girls, Fashion Angel Enterprises® is also a treasured “Guardian Angel” for national children’s charity, Kids Wish Network. Since 2006, Fashion Angel Enterprises® has donated merchandise to Kids Wish Network for distribution through their gift-giving program that delivers “Holiday of Hope Gift Banks” to children’s care facilities such as hospitals and shelters.

Just recently, Kids Wish Network was informed that Fashion Angels Enterprises® had an amazing 42 pallets/2 truckloads worth of their wonderful “fashion-forward” toys including fashion doll design kits and colorful pencil sets for Kids Wish Network. The people at Kids Wish Network were overjoyed and very grateful for this outstanding generosity.
 
Although Kids Wish Network has a program that grants wishes for children with life-threatening illnesses, this time they needed some help in granting their own “wish” of transporting these wonderful Fashion Angel Enterprises® products back to their warehouse; here is where Kids Wish Network’s own “angel,” CSX Intermodal, worked their special sort of “guardian angel magic.”

As they have helped Kids Wish Network many times in the past, CSX Intermodal was more than excited to help, and needed only an address to pick up the donation from. Through CSX’s amazing “Keep on Moving” program, the donation from Fashion Angel Enterprises® was transported all the way from Wisconsin to Kids Wish Network’s Florida doorstep.

“It was so exciting to see not only one, but two 53’ trailers pull up to our warehouse full of goodies for girls!”

The donation is now ready to be distributed directly into the hands of children in care facilities nationwide.
