Girls who are in the care of hospitals and care facilities across the nation will be smiling and enjoying a new level of comfort, thanks to the exceptional generosity of Camille Beckman, who has donated hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of their amazing merchandise to national children’s charity, Kids Wish Network.

This latest wonderful donation came to a retail value of approximately $110,000 and consisted of beautifully scented creams, lotions, sprays, powders, travel kits and other fantastic toiletries.  These particular items are extremely popular with teenage girls, a group for whom it is sometimes difficult to secure gifts for, especially in today’s unstable economic environment.

Their donation of fantastic bath and body products will go a very long way in helping to ease the feelings of discomfort that these kids and teens may experience while in the care of pediatric hospitals and facilities. Holiday, FL –  Kids Wish Network, a nationally recognized 501 (c) 3 organization that serves children with life-threatening illnesses, is desperate for your help! We are in need of donations of crayons and coloring books!

After working with children in crisis for over 12 years, we at Kids Wish Network have found that some of the simplest things that children truly love are coloring books and crayons. Despite the demand for high-tech gadgets, crayons and coloring books remain on the top of the list of the most desirable toys.

Coloring is a calming and relaxing activity for kids who are suffering from illnesses, distressed while dealing with harsh circumstances like homelessness or trying to cope with other traumatic situations such as abuse.
Probably because of their worldwide appeal to children of all ages and situations, coloring books and crayons are some of the hardest products to secure in donations.

With the economic climate of the country today, it’s becoming harder and harder to find donations at all, let alone ones that fit the needs of our kids. We are understanding of this difficulty, but the children still need our help; without your assistance, we cannot give these kids the joy they so deserve during their times of need.

We work hard each and every day, all year round to bring joy to some very courageous kids through our gift giving Holiday of Hope Gift Bank program. This program distributes thousands of dollars worth of toys and games directly to children within approximately 150 hospitals and child care facilities across the country all year round.

Because of the difficult economic times, more and more people are flooding into homeless and abuse shelters, many bringing their children, who have little to make them smile. This is where Kids Wish Network works best, bringing happiness to the lives of these kids.  

In order to bring joy to these very deserving children, we rely on the generosity of toy manufacturers and companies nationwide to donate their products to be given to these children. It has been proven that toys help alleviate fears and anxieties by allowing children to temporarily forget about the pain and fear often accompanying scary and uncertain circumstances.
