FunSpin Board Games founder leaves legacy with donation to kids in need

HOLIDAY, Fla: FunSpin Board Games President Betty Deitch recently donated U.S. patented Wall Street Spin® board games to children’s charity Kids Wish Network to help bring fun to kids facing life-altering circumstances. The donation will be distributed through the charity’s Holiday of Hope gift-giving programs which reach children suffering from homelessness, neglect, abuse, or illness.

Deitch made this donation as a legacy for her late husband Donald Deitch, the co-inventor of Wall Street Spin. After the fall of the stock market, Donald, a former mortgage banker, and Betty, an award-winning realtor, put their heads together to develop a series of fun and challenging games for kids and adults alike.

The first game manufactured was Wall Street Spin, a fun and educational stock market board game that teaches social interaction along with math skills. The game went on to win the Dr. Toy’s Award for Educational Skills and is proudly made in the U.S.A. Betty credits her success to Mills College, a small liberal arts school in California where she learned leadership skills.

After Donald’s passing, Betty decided to donate the last 998 Wall Street Spin board games to Kids Wish Network knowing each game would help spread joy to kids struggling through difficult situations.

“I’m very pleased to be donating to Kids Wish Network’s worthy cause,” adds Dietch.

“We are honored that FunSpin Board Games would choose to donate the final quantities of the Wall Street Spin game to Kids Wish Network,” comments Kids Wish Network Executive Director Anna Lanzatella. “Their donation will help thousands of children in need as each game is passed to the next generation of board game players.”

Kids Wish Network would like to thank FunSpin Board Games for its recent donation and its desire to improve the quality of life for kids facing difficult situations. For more information about FunSpin Board Games, please visit www.funspin.com.
