Hope for a Bright New Year at Kids Wish Network
Despite the tough economic climate of the past year, Kids Wish Network has gone on to serve approximately 80 facilities (including hospitals, police departments, homeless shelters, youth centers and many different specialized programs) by shipping toys and games directly to the facilities. Once there, these amazing products are distributed directly into the hands of thousands of children and teens. Kids Wish Network’s “new year’s resolution” for 2009 is to far exceed this number for last year and send out more Gift Banks than ever before! That’s where you come in: we need your help to replenish the toys and electronic games that are so desperately needed for these wonderful children.
We work hard each and every day to bring joy to these courageous kids through our wish granting services and our gift giving programs. In order to do this, we rely on the generosity of toy and electronics manufacturers and companies nationwide to donate their products to be given to these children. Nothing brings a smile to a child’s face more quickly than receiving a brand new toy or game!
Sadly, our teenagers are often neglected in our efforts! It is extremely challenging for us to garner donations geared towards kids between the ages of 12 and 18! We do our best to fill our wish boxes and to stock teen rooms at hospitals and children’s care facilities across the country with items appealing to teens, but it is very difficult as we are seriously lacking items for them. As everyone knows, teenagers are very gadget oriented!
At this time, we are desperately seeking any of the following items for our teens: electronic hand held games, game system games for all game systems, DVD’s for older kids, listening devices including iPods and MP3 players as well as books for teens.
If your company manufactures or distributes any of these products, please contact Kids Wish Network’s Distribution Center. Any help would be tremendously appreciated! Kids Wish Network will gladly pay for shipping within the continental U.S.
