Southard Freeman Communications and Playtime PR form Alliance

 New deal will provide Southard Freeman’s clients with access to

Playtime’s PR services in the UK and Europe

NEW YORK, NY – March 20, 2018 – Southard Freeman Commnunications, an award-winning communications agency with offices in New York and New Jersey, is forming an alliance with Playtime PR – the UK-based specialist PR agency for brands in the toys, games and childhood sector.


The deal provides Southard Freeman’s clients with access to Playtime’s expert PR services in the UK and Europe. Similarly, clients of Playtime PR will be able to tap into Southard Freeman’s services in the US.


The two agencies already share a number of client brands in the toy space, including Thames & Kosmos and Sensible Object. By working together, the agencies are confident they can better serve their clients and future clients with needs in both the US and Europe as well as providing deeper local market insight.

Southard Freeman Communications is led by Bill Southard and Bruce Maguire, following a merger in January 2017 between Southard Communications (est. 1994) and Freeman PR (est. 1955). Playtime PR was established in 2014 and has grown to a team of 11, with retained toy clients including Top Trumps, Jazwares, ZURU and John Adams’ Rubik’s Cube. The agency has been recognized with a number of PR awards, including the PRCA’s Industry Leader of the Year 2017 for MD Singleton, and campaign awards for work carried out on behalf of clients BBC Worldwide and Worlds Apart.
